We believe in complete transparency. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information.
When you use 4oh, you create various types of data, including:
- Log Entries: Categorized logs (venting, advice, comfort, processing, wins).
- Notes & Moods: Personal text notes and mood indicators associated with logs.
- Quiz Responses: Answers provided during the onboarding digital habits quiz.
All of this data is generated by you and remains exclusively under your control.
how we use your information
Because we do not have access to your data, we do not use it for any external purpose.
The data entered into the app is processed solely locally on your device to:
- Display your conversation history and patterns.
- Visualize your mood trends and insights within the app dashboard.
- Provide functionality for the digital habits quiz.
data storage & security
No servers. No accounts. No cloud sync.
Local Storage Only: All user data (logs, quiz responses, mood entries, notes) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.
Since your data is stored locally, deleting the app from your device will result in the permanent deletion of your data. We recommend backing up your device regularly via standard iOS backup methods (iCloud Backup or Finder/iTunes) to preserve your app data.

4oh is designed to be non-intrusive. We do not request access to:
- Camera or Microphone
- Location Services (GPS)
- Contacts or Photos
- Health Data
third-party services
We use a limited number of trusted third-party services to facilitate app functionality, specifically regarding subscriptions. We do not use any analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchase history restoration. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase data and device identifiers to validate your subscription status. This data is not linked to any personal identity information we hold (since we hold none).

Apple App Store
All financial transactions and payment processing are handled directly by Apple. We do not process, store, or have access to your credit card information or billing details.
children's privacy
4oh is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.
